Solitaire T PRO Nightflight

Nightflight

The Solitaire T Pro Nightflight is an homage to those who maintain absolute calm while navigating the vast, electric shadows of a storm-tossed night sky. Its aesthetic a black base punctuated by deep grey and bright silver contrasts - takes direct inspiration from the atmosphere of a midnight crossing where the horizon is lost to the elements, while simultaneously adhering to the consistent simplicity of our 40-year design language. Like all T+A equipment, the carefully designed chamfers on the headband and cups serve as a clear link to the inimitable family of Solitaire headphones, proving that the Nightflight is a true T+A reference, perfectly adapted for a life in motion. Beyond its physical isolation, the Solitaire T Pro Nightflight serves as your private, high-performance listening room,

utilizing Dolby technology to transform the headphones into a 360-degree sonic landscape where every movement has a tangible, physical presence. Built upon a foundation of high-fidelity wireless standards, the Solitaire T Pro demonstrates how the bridge between wired and wireless can become virtually indistinguishable, providing a clear, powerful sound image that exceeds many conventional wired systems. With signal transfer via symmetrical passive cable inputs, as well as USB-C for bit-perfect digital playback and up to 50 hours of playback, the Solitaire T Pro Night Flight ensures your studio in motion is always ready for the journey ahead.

At Home

Delivering the Artist's Truth anywhere requires a product of incredible versatility, and the Solitaire T Pro is engineered to be just that. It is designed to be a reference-level closed audiophile headphone while also serving as a lightweight, portable unit. This dual nature is supported by a sophisticated connection philosophy that masters both the digital and analogue domains. For a pure, uncompressed signal, the Solitaire T Pro can be operated fully digitally through its USB-C socket. For the analogue purist, it operates in a purely passive mode, transferring the signal fully symmetrically to the transducer from Pentaconn, 3.5mm, or 6.3mm connectors. The true innovation, however, is our Active Analog concept. This system is based on the analogue inputs but intelligently maximises their potential. It allows the pure analogue signal to access the headphone's volume control and active background noise suppression, creating that perfectly isolated listening environment without compromising the signal's soul. This entire philosophy is built on a foundation of quality. All leads are constructed from OFC cable designed to minimize structural sound, and they terminate in gold-plated contacts to ensure a perfect, unblemished connection to the performance.

At 30.000 feet

We cannot control the world around us. We can't silence the bustling airport lounge or the moving train. But we can control our response to it. The promise of the Solitaire T Pro is not about changing the environment; it is about mastering it. It is the ability to create a perfectly isolated sphere for the artist's truth, no matter whether you are crossing an ocean at 30.000 feet or sitting in your listening room. To achieve such a level of versatility in use, we engineered a system for the suppression of background noise, which is finetuned to work both with and without the headphone’s built-in battery being used. The first layer of sound control is provided by the headphone's passive sound insulation, materials carefully chosen to on their own effectively block out a great deal of unwanted mid-range and treble noise. With the battery switched on, a chip-based active suppression system effectively eliminates the bass noise which cannot be damped by passive means. To be the perfect travel companion, the Solitaire T Pro is engineered so that its quality doesn’t go at the expense of either portability or durability. The aluminium components are machined from solid material, then bead-blasted and anodised for a robust, tactile finish. This creates the durable architecture of your mobile studio. At the same time, precision-made, close-tolerance hard metal couplings allow the ear cups to rotate through 90° and fold inwards, making the Solitaire T Pro incredibly compact for its case or for wearing around the neck. It is the T+A standard, set free.

Music becomes sound

The Solitaire T Pro represents a deliberate transition from the reproduction of music only to the mastery of sound itself, embracing the full spectrum of the modern entertainment landscape. With our heritage firmly rooted in bringing to life the Artist's Truth, our guiding conviction has grown to encompass more than ever: sound, in all its cinematic, atmospheric, and musical complexity, can be experienced in its most visceral, unaltered form. By integrating Dolby Atmos, we have transformed the Solitaire T Pro from a high-fidelity headphone into a truly private cinema

When engaging with spatial audio content, your role changes: you are no longer just a listener to a soundstage; instead, you are placed inside a three-dimensional soundfield. Instruments and cinematic effects occupy a 360-degree reality around you with every sound given a tangible physical presence in space and time.

The Digital Intelligence

To ensure the T+A standard remains entirely untethered without sacrificing an ounce of fidelity, we selected the Qualcomm QCC 5181 chipset. This is far more than a simple component; it is a high-efficiency conduit specifically engineered to handle the massive data requirements of the modern audio landscape. This core serves as the vital gateway for a comprehensive suite of advanced wireless connection codecs, led by LDAC™ and aptX™ HD. They ensure that the perceived divide between wired and wireless listening is now virtually indistinguishable, providing a uniquely clear, powerful, and natural sound image.

The mobile Studio

When you demand the absolute pinnacle of performance, the Solitaire T Pro is ready to transition into Studio Pro Mode, a state of operation where the digital signal is entrusted to a second Esstech ES9218 Sabre DAC. This reference-grade converter acts as the critical gatekeeper of the signal path, tasked with the translation of complex, high-resolution data into an analogue signal. In this mode, particularly when utilizing the USB-C input to bypass external processing, the ES9218 takes full command of the high-bitrate stream. The converted signal is then fed into a bespoke analogue amplifier coupled with a dedicated analogue volume control. The result is a sensory experience where every nuance is felt as much as it is heard, bringing the uncompromising quality of a stationary high-end system into a mobile reality.

The Acoustic Foundation

The Solitaire T Pro is built upon a singular architectural foundation: the conviction that even the most advanced digital processing requires a fundamentally pure canvas to succeed. Consequently, the entire transducer is engineered to such an exemplary standard that it by itself is capable of delivering a superb, high-fidelity experience without any reliance on artificial signal processing. To achieve such a level of performance, our design is rooted in the elimination of interference before it can begin. At the heart of the system is a 42-mm transducer featuring a specialized cellulose diaphragm - a material selected for its remarkable ability to merge lightning-fast agility with structural rigidity. While undamped diaphragms can introduce unwanted reflections that blur detail, we have precisely managed this potential by integrating carefully located damping at the very edge of the transducer. This measure effectively neutralizes reflections as they develop, preventing any colouration of the frequency response and allowing the diaphragm to move with effortless poise, free from premature break-up. Complemented by an optimized low-bass system that ensures a flawless transient response, the result is a transparent, three-dimensional stage where sound is heard exactly as it was intended to be felt.

Operation

We believe a headphone is an intimate, personal interface with your music. Accordingly, we insisted that the operation of the Solitaire T Pro be entirely effortless and instinctive. This is achieved through a holistic, multi-sensory experience. Whether interacting with the solid, precision-machined buttons and switches to switch from “Endurance Mode” to “Noise Control Mode” or “Studio Pro Mode” or the seamless interactive touchpad, every action is one of considered, assured simplicity. When one wishes to engage with the outside environment, a supplementary transparency mode can be invoked at the push of a button. All important inputs are confirmed by discreet feedback messages, spoken by our distinctive T+A voices. With the Solitaire T, the experience is absolute yet intuitive: you see, feel, and hear precisely what you are doing.
