The T+A "R-Series"
Ever since being introduced in 1992, the R Series has been the standard bearer for audio devices in terms of design, user experience and technology. Featuring multi-source players, integrated amplifiers and even turntables: The R Series offers everything a music lover needs, performing the balancing act between analogue and cutting edge digital technology with breathtaking ease. Listening to FM radio, USB, internet radio, Bluetooth, LP records and streaming services is just as easy as playing CDs (and SACDs for the 2500 Series).
Our proprietary digital analogue converters (DAC) transform the incoming digital signals into analogue signals, capable of processing the highest quality DSD and PCM music files. Detrimental interferences are ruled out through the use of fully optimized and completely separate signal paths for DSD and PCM.
The R Series is a testament to our spirit of moving the boundaries of common knowledge further. Developed and built by hand in Germany, the R Series is a statement for precision, science and a love of music.

The R-Series 2000
Our 2000 R Series serve as a showcase for combining our iconic design language and high end technology. A keen eye will immediately pick up on the subtle nods to the very first R Series devices from 1992. With continuous refinement and development over the past 28 years, T+A's R-Series stays true to its roots, while providing today's most advanced audio design.
The 2000 R Series includes the multi source player MP 2000 R, the integrated amp PA 2000 R and the turntable G 2000 R.
The R-Series 2500
The 2500 R Series devices are an exciting interpretation of the classical R Series design. They stand out thanks to their increased dimensions and even more advanced technology, while still being recognizable as a T+A R Series device. The 2500 Series features the MP 2500 R and PA 2500 R.
Compared to the 2000 Series devices, the MP and PA 2500 R feature an SACD transport and even more power, respectively.
Technical Details
The MP 2000 R MKII is a genuine multi-talent. At its heart lies one of the most sophisticated digital – analogue converters (DAC). Our multi-source players house a high-performance digital tuner offering FM, FM-HD and DAB+ reproduction; a high-quality Bluetooth streaming module for receiving music from mobile devices, a streaming client with Internet radio and music services for connection to the home network via LAN and WLAN, USB Master Mode and HD streaming plus a digital connecting board with inputs for external sources. Whereas the MP 2000 R MK II is equipped with a first-class CD drive, the MP 2500 R has a completely newly developed SACD drive.
The PA 2000 R integrated amplifier is incredibly dynamic, powerful and incisive. An optional audiophile phono pre-amplifier module for MM or MC can simply be plugged in. Twice as tall, higher output power and even more connection facilities - the PA 2500 is even more powerful than the smaller machine, but retains exactly the same dynamism and cultured sound.
The G 2000 R delivers a superb sound: absolutely transparent, extremely dynamic and forceful, due to ist smooth-running drive motor and ist totally damped overall system.
