Welcome to Vienna

The SDX 3100 HV was designed to be the beating heart of your audio system. It therefore goes far beyond a standard streaming DAC with a preamplifier, translating both digital and analog signals with remarkable ease of use and sonic clarity.

As you experience its performance at the show, you are hearing the result of the interplay between four exceptional key technologies:

Path Separation Technology

Because DSD and PCM are fundamentally different music formats, the SDX 3100 HV features a dedicated signal path for each. Our proprietary True 1-Bit Converter processes DSD natively up to DSD 1024, while a quadruple converter utilizing 32-bit Burr-Brown chips handles the PCM data, ensuring bit-perfect reproduction.

ASA G3 & De-Jitter Masterclock

Our third-generation Audiophile Streaming Architecture (ASA G3) handles high-resolution streams internally and seamlessly integrates modern connect services such as Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, and Spotify Connect. To keep the timing of all data streams absolutely precise, our built-in De-Jitter Masterclock utilizes two femto crystal oscillators, completely decoupling the signal from any external interference.

Tonecontrol, Preamplifier & Phonointegration

HV Preamplifier & Analog Tone Control: The fully balanced, double-mono architecture ensures excellent channel separation. Yet, even the most perfect individual components ultimately perform in a real room. That is why the device provides you with tone control of the highest precision. Thanks to individually adjustable corner frequencies, you can define exactly where bass or treble should be gently enhanced or dialed back. This tone control thus becomes your ideal tool for elegantly compensating for room acoustics, loudspeaker characteristics, or the tuning of a historic recording—entirely in the analog domain, without the losses associated with digital signal processing.

Modular Phono Integration: Despite its uncompromising digital capabilities, a profound respect for analog sources remains deeply anchored in the SDX 3100 HV. Three classic analog inputs are available, and for the integration of turntables, the SDX can be seamlessly expanded via a plug-in module to include a first-class phono preamplifier (MC or MM). Its tonal adjustment can be dialed in within seconds using fine controls on the rear panel of the chassis.

The A 3100 HV: Pure Power Amplification

Standing side by side with the SDX 3100 HV is the A 3100 HV, the highly anticipated successor to our A 3000 HV power amplifier. Refined through more than 270 individual improvements, it is dedicated entirely to pure, transparent power amplification. Through several hundred hours of engineering, we have succeeded in completely eliminating the amplifier's sonic footprint:
